Welcome to the official community forums for BroadcastMate and BroadcastLogger.

These forums are a place for users, community radio volunteers, broadcasters, developers and station technicians to ask questions, share ideas, report problems and help one another get the most from the software.

Whether you are setting up BroadcastMate for the first time, configuring BroadcastLogger, troubleshooting an issue or suggesting a new feature, you are welcome to join the conversation.

Community Guidelines
1. Be respectful

Treat all members with patience and courtesy. Personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, bullying or abusive language will not be tolerated.

2. Keep discussions relevant

Please keep posts related to BroadcastMate, BroadcastLogger, radio broadcasting, audio technology and relevant station operations. Use the most appropriate forum category for your topic.

3. Search before posting

Before starting a new topic, check whether your question has already been answered. Keeping similar questions together makes useful information easier for everyone to find.

4. Use clear topic titles

Choose a title that briefly describes your question or problem. Titles such as “Help” or “Not working” make it difficult for other members to understand the issue.

A better title would be:

5. Include helpful technical information

When requesting support, please include relevant information such as:

The application and version you are using
Your Windows version
Your audio hardware or sound card
Any error messages displayed
What you expected to happen
What actually happened
Steps you have already tried

Screenshots and log extracts may also be helpful, but please remove passwords, email addresses, licence information and other private details before posting.

6. Protect personal and station information

Do not publish passwords, private email addresses, remote-access details, API keys, station credentials or other sensitive information.

Remember that forum posts may be publicly visible.

7. No spam or unrelated promotion

Advertising, repeated promotional posts, referral links and unrelated commercial content are not permitted without prior approval.

Relevant discussion of broadcasting products or services is acceptable when it directly helps answer a question and any commercial connection is clearly disclosed.

8. Do not share illegal or unauthorised material

Do not post pirated software, licence keys, copyrighted recordings without permission or instructions intended to bypass software licensing, security controls or legal broadcasting requirements.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their recording and archiving practices comply with applicable laws, agreements and station policies.

9. Feature requests are welcome

Ideas for improving BroadcastMate and BroadcastLogger are encouraged. Please explain the problem you are trying to solve, how the proposed feature would work and how it may benefit other users.

Submission of an idea does not guarantee that it will be included in a future release.

10. Support is provided on a best-effort basis

The forums are supported by the developer and the wider community. Responses may not be immediate, and not every hardware, software or station configuration can be officially supported.

Please avoid repeatedly posting the same question or directly messaging multiple members for assistance.

11. Follow moderator instructions

Moderators may edit, move, close or remove posts to keep the forums safe, organised and useful. Serious or repeated breaches of these guidelines may result in account restrictions or removal.

Before Posting a Support Request

To help others assist you quickly, please provide as much relevant information as possible and describe the issue step by step.

Please avoid posting only a screenshot or saying that something “does not work.” Clear details will usually lead to a much faster and more accurate response.
