Why you need it
Most community broadcasting licences require you to keep a recording of everything you transmit for a set period, and to produce it on request. Doing that manually is unreliable, and finding a specific ninety seconds from six weeks ago in a pile of untagged files is worse.
BroadcastLogger records continuously, names and files everything by date and time automatically, and removes recordings once they're past your retention period so your disk doesn't quietly fill up.
