One way, download only
BroadcastSync never writes to, modifies or deletes anything on the remote server. It only ever pulls files down. If you need to push files upward, this isn't the tool — and that limitation is deliberate, because a mirror that can also delete at the far end is a mirror that can ruin a provider's library from a mistyped path.
Built for unattended running
- Any number of jobs, each with its own server, folders, comparison rules and schedule
- Fetches only what changed, comparing size and timestamp rather than re-downloading everything
- Jobs queue, never run in parallel — a shared host doesn't get hit by several sessions at once
- Flexible schedules — every N minutes, or any combination of days, hours and minutes: five to every hour, weekday breakfast and drive, weekend overnights only
- Interrupted transfers can't leave a truncated file that looks complete
- Sits in the system tray and keeps working with the window closed
Status at a glance
The same display style as BroadcastLogger, so the two read the same way side by side in a rack room: elapsed time or a countdown to the next run, connection state, transfer rate, a 24-hour timeline of today's syncs, and the last result with counts.
